I’ve created these flyers for a school activist project where I bring more attention to the women in history that have been forgotten or ignored. This blog will be an extension of those flyers where I post longer biographies of these women and other bad-ass women like them. Too often women’s achievements have been pushed aside, either by others in their lives, or else by the historians who choose to ignore them. This tumblr is dedicated to celebrating them and bringing their achievements to light!

Inspired by Anita Sarkeesian’s Video Game Tropes vs Women, I wanted to pitch a Zelda game where Zelda herself was the hero, rescuing a Prince Link.
Clockwork Empire is set 2,000 years after Twilight Princess, and is not a reboot, but simply another iteration in the Zelda franchise. It just so happens that in this case, Zelda is the protagonist. I’m a very big Zelda fan, and worked hard to draw from key elements in the continuity and mythos.
This concept work is meant to show that Zelda as a game protagonist can be both compelling and true to the franchise, while bringing new and dynamic game elements that go farther than being a simple gender swap.
Hope you like it!
Like so much.

Seriously, have some RESPECT.
On the one hand this is great, but on the other, I feel like we should let Taylor’s heart make it’s own cougar decisions without giving her crap for getting on virtually all the boys.
Dear Pink Shoe LaRue,
I finally worked up the courage to ask a really cute girl in one of my classes for her number. The question is: How long should I wait before I text her? I don’t want to scare her off. Thanks!
Matt
Matt,
What the fuck you mean “wait?” Mothafucka if a bitch likes you, she wants you to text her all the God damn time. If a bitch don’t likes you, she don’t. There ain’t no mothafuckin’ statute of limitations on a bitch interest in you. When I get a bitch number, I text her 5 seconds later while I’m standing right in front of her and say, “Hello bitch! Have a great day!” Before you send a bitch emoticons and sissy ass “What kind of music do you like?” texts, make sure she knows you’re the mothafuckin’ man. Ain’t no waitin’ when it comes to dis pimpin’.
